Nel nostro contributo si fa riferimento all'eccellente e ampio contributo di Social Platform alla stessa consultazione: Social Platform - BUILDING A SOCIAL EUROPE FOR ALL WITH ALL

ITINERARI PER IL LAVORO - IMPLEMENTATION OF EUROPEAN PILLAR OF SOCIAL RIGHTS
Itinerari per il Lavoro agrees with Social Platform’s proposals, taking consideration, more specifically, of key messages 1, 4, 5, 7, 9 of their contribution "BUILDING A SOCIALEUROPE FOR ALL WITH ALL".
We are observing increasing social hostility towards the most vulnerable groups, towards the last, especially from the “second to last”, and evident lack of interest in social cohesion. The very existence of the Pillar is ignored by a large part of public opinion. That is why European citizens awareness that the Pillar principles are fair and just needs to be raised, as well as the sharing level of values underlying the Pillar. It is therefore not enough to act at institution and programming level: talking about Pillar in the Member States is a must, talking about fairness, social rights, social justice is a must, promoting dialogue on issues through all the media that can be activated is a must.
Beyond what the Social Platform has already pointed out with regard to EU programmes, it would be appropriate to call for explicit points of contact with Pillar principles to be highlighted in the programming of the ESIFs at national and regional level, and for these to be talked over publicly, outreaching as many citizens as possible.
Member States should be required to pay the same attention and to adopt the same communication strategy as with regard to social and economic reforms linked to the National Recovery and Resilience Plans and to the just transition to a green, digital, inclusive and of decent work economy, because social cohesion and the sharing of fundamental values is a critical issue in the future of the European Union.
Finally, Itinerari per il Lavoro is committed to upholding the principles of the Pillar, as it has done since its approval and also previously, in its action of proposal and dialogue with policy-makers, institutions, social and economic players, with specific reference to labour market.
